Sleepless On A Plane

I’m on my my way to India for the first time (to leave the airport and explore). I’m going to the southern province of Kalera to explore and hopefully to learn.

I’m flying with my “mentor” Ivy, whom is my boss and my amazing friend Ellen. I’ve been planning this trip for over a month and I’m so excited I can’t sleep. The lack of sleep may also have to do with the people snoring and I can’t sleep sitting up.

I’m not sure what to expect. I’ve heard it’s a beautiful part of the country with lots of traditional medicines and beautiful beaches and streams. I also have the images of poverty from documentaries I’ve seen about India in general.

Singapore was clean, efficient and modern. I’m interested in seeing how big the contrast is going to be.

I should try to sleep. I won’t but ill dream of what I’ll see.
