Plover’s Cove

Waterfalls at Brides Pool (新娘潭)

I really enjoy living in Taipo even though I spent most of my free time on Hong Kong Island. This past weekend my friend and I went to a waterfall in the huge county park called Plovers Cove. The area we went to was called Bride’s Pool.

The place  has tones of BBQ pits for families to cook outside. It meant there were tones of people around. The place was crawling with people with their DSLR cameras. There was a couple taking their wedding pictures in the greenness of the park. There were a lot of people but it was nice to be in the forest with someone I like.

We took some pictures and then headed home. It was a great outing if only for a few hours.
