I came to Sri Lanka with no plan and no idea what to expect. A friend of mine gave me the name of a local business man who can help me out. First I had to go to Kandy.
Ravana Wijeyeratne is the managing director of Sinhaputhra PLC (www.sinhaputhra.lk) He studied overseas and is widely travelled. I paid a small fee, which was donated to the local hospital, he set me up to travel. He had a friend and his grandson traveling and I’ve joined them.
It has been really great. I get to see more of the country and understand it a bit better. It is beautiful and I have a path for my stay.
