I woke up yesterday and went through the day in a bit of a funk. It is nothing new. I have been feeling really tired since I started my course at HKU in September. It has been the first time in my life where I have felt tried all the time, and I hate it.
Last night I went to my first Yoga class and I felt great afterwards. The class was hard on me since I didn’t know what I was doing. Everyone was twisting and turning and I didn’t know where to go so I tried my best. I was told not to overly exhort myself or I would hurt myself. Most of the people were twisting themselves into knots and I could barely get into some of the more simple positions. The instructor was really good and helpful. She spoke first in Cantonese then in English. I could follow easily.
After the class I wasn’t hurting at all. I was hot and sweaty. I went down to the gym area and worked out on the stationary bike. I slept well that night.
