Me Teaching in the temple.
I knew it was going to be a rough morning. Saying good bye is always tough especially when it’s your students you are saying good bye too.
I walked out of the guesthouse and they hadn’t started collecting alms yet. All of my students we in front of their temple. They were all grouped together. I smiled and they smiled as well. I said good morning and they said the same back. They were a bit nervous. I repeated until all of them said it. I talked to Bounlong and it was hard. I kept smiling. I wanted to cry but also wanted to “put on a good face”. I shook Boulong’s hand but knew it was not appropriate by his reaction. I told him to write soon and he promised. I then stept back to the front of my guest house.
They walked out of their temple. I smiled and took no pictures contrary to all around me. I felt proud and very sad. There is so much more I want to do for them. I want to make sure their dreams come true. I worry so much for their future. I want their dreams to come true.
As soon as the last one left, I went into the guesthouse and packed. They have changed my life in more ways then I can imagine.
