On the 24 or 25 month of July there is a huge torch or fire festival here in Dali. It is to remember a time when an ancient man would throw fire to get rid of a locus infestation in South Eastern China. Now a days people just throw fire at each other to laugh and have fun. It is dangerous but everyone seems to have fun.
