While home I had a chance to visit my friends in Ottawa. I took the train up and it was a great time. The highlight for me was seeing the snow. I love the look of snow and pure blue skies. One of my closest friends lives there with her husband and two kids. I’ve known her from my time at Queens Park and we worked together for a number of years. It was great to spend time with her and her family. The highlight was walking around Parliament Hill for a while. She works there and managed to allow us to wander around. It has always been the place I’ve always wanted to work. It’s where all the action is and a place where a real difference can be made. It’s a special place and somewhere I may be in the future.
