Happy July 1st

It is Canada Day (Dominion Day if you are a lot older). Here in Hong Kong it’s the day when it was handed back to the Chinese. I’m meeting up with some friends for brunch then meeting up with a great guy to see a movie.

I was to be in Taiwan this weekend to meet up with Robb but I had a problem at the airport which prevented me from flying. I got to the airport and was told I could be allowed into Taiwan since my passport was to expire under 6 months so they would let me board. I was upset at not getting a chance to see Robb. I got out of the safety area and went to check on Philippines Airlines since I am planning to fly the end of the month. They also said they would not let me board the plane as well. I’m not a happy.

I need to either get my passport renewed here in Hong Kong or cancel my summer plan to the philippines. Getting my passport renewed is easy but I will need to take off time to pick it up. I don’t want to do that. I am going to call them on Tuesday.

The weather for today looks amazing and I will enjoy it.
