What I am loving these days (Taken with Instagram at Lakeside Park)

I have a new routine in waking up around 5 am; getting up and getting on a bike. It has been really good so far. On the first day I rode down the Welland Canal (a set of  water locks to connect Lake Ontario with Lake Erie). The second day was to ride along Lake Ontario to Port Dalhousie. Today was just to ride down to one of the malls because the peddle was loose. I had to come back early.

When I ride, I am the only vehicle on the road. I have my headphones on listening to some music to motivate me to push myself harder. The weather is so cool at about 18 C . It is the air that gets me. It is so fresh and crisp. I feel so alive when I breath in this amazing fresh air.

As for eating, I haven’t eaten chocolate since I left Hong Kong. This is huge since I usually eat a chocolate bar or two a day. I haven’t had “fast food” (McDonalds, Burger King) since leaving Hong Kong, again something I did on a daily basis there. I haven’t even eaten any meat. All of this has left me feeling really good and full of Energy.

My goals for my time here are I want to be able to ride my bike from St. Catharines to Niagara-on-the-Lake like I did when I was in secondary school. I also wish to learn how to row a bit to help work on my upper body.
