Oceans Of Fun at Ocean Park

Jelly Fish!

I had a great time at Ocean Park, a water themed amusement park here in Hong Kong. I have heard the name of this place for the past year some of the kids I teach. My friend wanted to go and I also wanted to go as well to check it out. I am usually not an amusement park kind of guy but I really wanted to be with my friend. I don’t usually go just because most of my friends haven’t really been into it. Most of them have been a bit older or they go and kind of forget to invite me.

It was a great time and I think being with my friend made it that way. Near the entrance, or the front of the park, there are a few animal shelters with some giant pandas and some red pandas. There is a big aquarium with sharks, manta rays and other colourful fish. There were also some really nice fountains at the front as well.

We took a short train ride to the other half of the park where the rides were. The rides looked fun. I was surprised it wasn’t crowded as much. The whole park had a Halloween theme going on with a haunted house and some people dressed up as ghosts, zombies and such. We lined up for the Farris Wheel since I wanted to see the sun set. We were with his best friend and her sister. It was a lot of fun. I took a few pictures and we saw the dalphin and sea lion show.

The cost of admission was only for the day time so we would have had to get a night time ticket to continue to ride the rides. We walked around a bit more and I had a great time.
