Hue — Hoi An

A lake seen from thebus.

I’m on a road from the ancient vietnamese capital of Hue to the city of Hoi An. The trip is four hours and winds along the coast.

The road is littered by thousands and thousands of scooters. The houses along the road are small and nice. People are wearing less clothing as the temperature is 10 C higher than Hanoi. Some times there are miles of rice fields. In Danang the beach area was being developed for rich hotel resorts which can be opened sometime this year.

The bus is a sleeper. All the seats are horizontal. I took a similar bus this morning and tried to sleep.

The trip has been good today and it’ll be nice when I get off this bus.
