I’m at a beautiful bar called Glamour (5 Bund Shanghai, CN). Full disclosure: my friend is the manager. It sits on top of an early 19th century building. It has high ceilings. The bar staff are professional and nice. The interior is modern and perfectly designed for good conversations.
The weekends are PACKED. There is dance music and space to dance. The clientele tends to be trendy and European. Drink prices are up scale but the ambiance more than makes up for it.
I like it and I would even if my friend weren’t the manager.
