Japanese Hospitality

Japanese Hospitality

Aug 3, 2015 | Hot Takes, Sights and Travels

The temple I booked, to start the joke on Shikoku, was closed when I arrived. I walked around for 3 hours at night. The air was cool, and all I could smell was pine trees.

It was 11 pm. All the places were closed but Lawson’s, the local convenience store. I asked about hotels and three people looked through phones, yellow pages, and other things.

Finally one of the women, Kako just suggested sleeping on her couch.

I love Japan.
